Free Shipping

All orders to the continental United States are shipped free. For shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or international, please contact us.

Returns

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it within fourteen calendar days of
receipt, provided that the item is returned in the same condition that it was sent. All returned items are charged a 3% restocking fee. Customer is responsible for return shipping charges. Returned items must be received by MacNichol within twenty days of original
shipment date to the customer.

If any modifications to an instrument aside from basic set up procedures are made then the instrument may not be returned. Basic set up procedures include changing strings and adjusting the nut, saddle, or truss rod.  Expedited or international shipping charges are non-refundable. Consumable items such as strings and picks are non-returnable. Humidifiers are only returnable if they have not been used.

Holds, Custom Orders, Special Orders

Customers may request a twenty four hour hold on any instrument by contacting MacNichol by phone. All holds longer than twenty four hours require a 50% deposit, which is entirely refundable. Instruments that are currently in stock that a customer has placed a 50% deposit on must be paid for in full within fifteen calendar days of the initial date that the deposit was placed, or the deposit will be refunded minus a 5% administrative fee, and the instrument re-listed for sale. All custom orders (instruments constructed to the customer's specifications) and special orders (requests for manufacturer models not in MacNichol's current stock) require a 50% deposit, which is non-refundable. Custom orders and special orders may not be returned to MacNichol for a refund. However, the customer would have the manufacturer's warranty, and so if any structural problems with a custom order or special order instrument arise, then the customer would need to work directly with the instrument builder.
