I have read the other postings on deciphering Composite Acoustics serial numbers but the guitar I am looking at does not fit the explanations. It is a CA Legacy Player serial number P160920072.

Now this could mean that it is a Player guitar (P)
With a High Gloss finish (1)
Custom (6)
Made in 2009 (09)
On the 200th day of 09
And was the 72 guitar made that day.

However, I don’t think CA made this model in 2009. I have emailed CA and called them but I think they had bigger fish to fry.

Peace,
Rip

The numbering system you were looking at was very recent.  CA showed me how to read it but my guitar was September of 2009  Don't know about earlier numbering systems but your is definately earlier.

72 guitars in one day seems a little much.

Yes. This was one that I read. I tried to decipher it using this as a guide but I don't think it works for this guitar.

Peace,
Rip
