FOR SALE:  Composite Acoustics GX-HG- High Gloss Carbon Burst

This guitar was brand new, picked up from the dealer on January 30, 2010.

Sale price:   $2,275.   I will pay for shipping within the continental U.S.

Condition remains as new.  In the two months I have had the guitar it has had only light playing as a living room couch guitar, . . . no gigging.  I have changed the strings one time, from the original Elixir light guage to D’Addario light guage, . . . which sound as good, if not better, than the Elixir. 

Reason for Sale:  I have concluded that the GX is sufficiently close in playing experience to my CA GXi TB, that I should part with one and reinvest in something different. 

I have made no adjustments to the GX’s set-up, which I measure at the 12th fret as 7/64 low E string, and 4.5/64 high E string.  If you want to make adjustments to the set-up, there is ample saddle to work with.

Please note that the GX HG which is for sale comes with the original hard shell case (i.e. which has the CA logo molded into the top).

Today I picked up the GX HG after it set was up by a local guitar repair shop that was recommended by a fellow forum member, . . . D. Koloff.

The shop does work for alot of local professionals and, from what I understand, some big national names also.

The GX now plays fantastic, so I will not be selling it at this time.

The repair shop did such a great job on the GX, that I am also having them do a set up on my GXi.

Thanks to David Koloff for the recommendation.

Glad you are keeping it..I know how excited you were when you got it.....beautiful Guitar!  I am also happy that you liked the work that Mike does......he has an incredible rep in the area with all the bands....he recently did repair work on half a dozen of so of Hank Williams Jrs "beaters"....interesting stuff. Hopefully I'll see you over at the Taylor Road Show and maybe for Doyle Dykes.
