You've had that thing long enough now, I think it's time you threw up a video or two so we can see how it sounds. I mean you have the only one in the world so it's not like anybody else can give us a sample. After hearing how blazingly loud a steel string X-10 is I am imagining that the 10N has a really unique sound with plenty of volume. If you've played every tavern in Nevada free of charge, surely you can play a little tune for your carbon fiber community!
Oh, by the way, all the play was not exactly free--I play one for free, after the first on, e someone(s) have to buy me a drink, the proceeds of which I share with the tender of the bar.
Just make the darn vid!!
Carbon Ax:Yeh yeh. I'm working on it. I'm dusting off my Tascam digital, CD making machine and getting to it. Then I have to get Barbara to put my CD on her computer, and then I have to take a minute and figure out how all you technophiles get your material on this site. I'll get there.I've been trying to get someone around here to do a mobile UTube unit, slide in, do the audio/video, get it placed on UTube--I think it would be a cool business. But so far no one has taken the suggestion. In any event, I will get something recorded with the X10N.And, thanks for asking.
Glad to hear you are workin' on it. I'm sure I speak for many carbonites when I say we are really looking forward to it!
As far as the Mobile youtube unit, that is absolutely brilliant! Unfortunately, I don't think there are too many of us technical illiterates left in the world, so the van would just have to drive back and forth between Nevada and Missouri. We are the last of a dying breed my friend. In fact, I think Joel and Alistair got a little ticked at me because I didn't know how to use my son's X-box as a dvd player!
So Kramster, et al, Carbon Ax has convinced me I need to get with the program. I'm going to start a new thread--best camera for Utube.
Here is one for ideas -> Youtube videos,,,, desireable gear & set-up
Thanks Kramster. that's what I needed. No need to start another thread.
i agree with all the statements aforementioned. we are waiting for your video (and for Kramster's x7 video-demo)
;) hurry up!
I'm traveling a lot now, so don't hold your breath. I'll get there.
HmHmmm......(impatient clearing of throat sound)
