very interesting. looking forward to know the price. the satin finish looks good also but the gig bag seems really bulky fot this model
It seems to me that CA Guitars established a price point that the market took notice of and other builders are trying hard (and probably succedding now) to find a way to successfully hit that target.

Very Interesting!
All the best to RainSong in their latest marketing effort of a truly affordable carbon guitar! I just hope they can keep the quality-control high with a street-friendly price!

What interests me most is the probable high playabilty--low action--that Rainsong can do, and my OXE can't (not at least without muto work). Still, the Rg back is standard guitar, not exploting carbon the way CA did on the OX, allowing such amazing access up hi. All that aside, I really want to try one of these!
I owned a few traditional models from Rainsong, and I played a few weeks ago a hybrid. It was very good, actually, I even dare to say it was better than the traditional models (warmer more "woody" tone). However, in the current times, I cannot anymore afford to pay over 2k for a traditional Rainsong, and not even1,7 K for a hybrid. But if the new hybrid satin guitars will be sold at a lower price (especially if they can be ordered without electronics) I have a Rainsong Hybrid OM satin in my future.
A dealer quoted me "$1400 or less" for Rainsong new model.
I think that is exactly what they need. I hope they have the black ice in a satin finish I bet that would be a ladykiller.
I'm glad to see the carbon guitar companies evolving and changing, Not only are they innovative products but they are small enough to come on the message boards and contribute and add to the discussions. That is something you will never see from large guitar companies

It will be very interesting to hear the reviews when they come out. Hopefully they will do an affordable Jumbo that has good projection and a strong bass side.
Wow! if they will include a traditional classical style I want to be at the head of the line!!!!!!
