You mentioned that you'd like to try a shure beta 87a--there's on ebay at a buy it now price of $100.00. I found it while checking out the Ev ND 767a that you recommended (the one you got on ebay for $35). I found some new EV ND 767a mics, but nothing near the price you snagged. Want to sell yours? It would help buy that Shure beta 87a that you want.

My offer is off the table. After your recommendation I went on some review sites and they all said the same thing--the EV is fantastic. And so, I've got one coming in the mail (hopefully). Thanks for the hint.

Again, very nice! You've been really busy with the music. Your friend Deb has a great voice (one that is very complimentary with yours), and your drummer is pretty dainty on the skins.

Yeah, I love singing with Deb. And she's so game... in that video she was literally called up from the audience.
The drummer is Keshav. We enjoy membership in a West African drumming group and he's our leader. That night we did four drumming tunes (just drumming), and then several of them helped with a couple of my guitar tunes. Keshav is actually quite talented.

I got the EV N/D 767 and it's everything you said. It really does isolate the sound source and I think I will be be doing my next recording with it. Also, Keshav is a real find, he's right under and with you--I'd keep him in the band. And by the way, I've really enjoyed your contributions to this forum and the development of carbon fiber guitars. Thanks! BTW, I'm just now reading your book. In some ways, I kind of long for small town life. I'll send you a longer email when i get it finished.
