I have been experimenting with all kinds of strings and for a week have put Elixir PB extra light gauge on my Legacy.   I was not really expecting to like it, since my last experiment was with mediums.  To my surprise it was kind of cool.  I love the jangle of the middle strings on this carbon but have noticed the low E not quite as brassy?  I think some people add a brass end pin to pin it up.  With the lights I got the same jangily sound through to the E.  Was kind of cool.  Different feel lends itself to a light touch.  I really down miss any volume but I am sure it is reduced.  Very easy on the hands.
