Ebay--carbon fiber guitar-- 1) Acoustic F Type
2) Flash
# 1 is a custom made at a very cheap "buy it now" price. Some of you on this forum may know the maker.
#2 is, perhaps(?), the same maker many on this forum thought would not make it.
Carbon fiber is turning up everywhere in many forms.
GOOD EYE EVAN!!!!
It wasn't gone when you posted Larry, ...... but.....
its gone now.... cause I could not resist a hand made carbon fiber f-hole guitar for that price...
I will send a full report when it shows up.. the guys feedback, the great photos and the backstory had me pressing the buy it now button before I knew what was going on...

here is the auction link if you want to drool over it:

wowza!
oh yeah, and uh.. that acoustic guitar in the 2nd link you posted by the israeli guy looks like he literally made his mold by copying an Emerald X30... not cool... here:
One of the more unique carbons is the Rainsong Jazz F hole they made for a brief time. High end and not many out there.

Flash is coming back! sincerely, IMHO, after listening to the videos, i'd never spend so much money on one of this guitars. for this amount you can buy ANY carbon fiber acoustic on the market. ALL of them are below this price and have a big reputation, what he doesn't have already.
i agree all the models offered are copied or extremely influenced by others. who knows! maybe we all are wrong. anyway, i'm not interested on spending so much money just to try if their are good or not XD
anyway, all the newcomers to this world are welcome. we should keep evolving!
regarding the Rainsong jazz F, the idea is lovely. i'd rave for a jazz archtop carbon fiber! but the vid i found in youtube seems nothing impressive. surely i'm wrong, but carbon fiber crafters should retry on this concept (as well as on the nylon!)
Ryan:
Good catch! The guitar looked really well made and very beautiful. The ad was kind of dark and I almost passed it over--if it had still been there this morning, I would have grabbed it. Have you figured out who made it?

to clarify:this is about the custom f-hole carbon guitar... It was a very odd one but the seller is very responsive and seems like an honest guy not trying to make a fortune.... he has good feedback... the clincher for me was realizing i will probably never find a rainsong archtop for that price... i hope it plays and sounds as good as it looks...
#1 appears to be gone - wanna tell us what it was?
#2 I don't really see anything special about these. The electrics are pretty tried and true forms, with the exception of a particularly ugly one (I know, eye of the beholder and all).
So, is there a history with this Jakov? That's the name of the maker, I'm not being insulting without knowing how to spell...
