With the arrival of my second grandson and the news that another grandchild is on the way, I was inspired to come up with this little ditty (to keep with the CF thread, I played my red A-WS1000, recorded simply with my Zoom H2, and a bit of reverb added with Sony Acid Music).
Wow, thanks evan. High praise indeed. I really appreciate it.
Greg,
Really really nice! I so enjoyed it. I write and sing a lot, but have not been brave enough to post anything (plus none of my music is copywrited). You are inspiring.
I have a Zoom H2 as well. What does this reverb unit exactly do? The recording is excellent as is your voice and music!
And what is amazing...if you close your eyes, one would never know that is a carbon fiber guitar! Greg, does the red guitar have built in electronics or any at all?
Lisa
Thank you so much. The A-WS1000 does have electronics (Fishman Prefix Plus-T), however I did not use it for this recording. I just set the H2 up in front and played and sang. Then I downloaded into my computer into Sony Acid Music and just added a little reverb and made it an mp3. Pretty simple really. I'm sure that there is a lot more I could do to make it more professional, but I just wanted to get it down.
Would love to hear some of your stuff.
BTW, Copywriting is pretty straight forward on line when you submit it digitally through http://www.copyright.gov/
It costs 35.00, and once you wade through the pages of entering the same info, you just upload your mp3 recording and, voila, you're registered.
One more reason to dust off that H2 and get those songs recorded.
I love it! So sweet. :)
Thank you. Funny how music comes together when you're not writing for the masses.
Very nicely done!!
Very, very, nice. Sound quality is awesome, too.
Another "home run" Greg. Nicely done!!

Greg! Holy Moly! This is great! This is one of the nicest things I've heard in a long time. Great song writing, great singing, great playing--it doesn't get any better. Thank you for sharing. I'll be coming back to this many times.
