I have had my Emerald T20 for about three weeks now and man what an amazing guitar!! I have tried several sets of strings, everything from Elixrs to Cleartones, Diadarrio EXP and a few GHS brands Vintage Bronze, Contact Core, white bronze even John Pearse as
Well. So far Michael has me hooked on GHS Vintage Bronze!! These strings are amazing I like a smooth warm tone and Vintage give me that. I suggest you try some if you haven't already great strings!!

To put it simply, the Paige Clik the least intrusive and most "accurate" capo I've used. But it has some features that make "interesting".
The whole affair is extremely light. The bar that goes across the fret board looks like a "padded wire" and is the thinnest mechanism out there - when combined with its near perfectly symmetric pressure the strings do not go out of tune in relation to one another - a HUGE BOON.
The pressure itself is mostly a "screw type" and is brain-dead simple to operate.
I saw this video on YouTube, is anyone using this method??
Hi All,
Well, I have hammered out some serious hours on my Shorty. I really like the trebles on this set of strings as they have a nice mellow ring. The bass strings, in particular, the "A" and the "D" are a bit bright. Surprisingly, the "E" is super nice and bassy and mellow. I suspect that a proper set up may resolve the two bass strings I don't care for.
Elixir says the Polywebs yield a mellower sound, so I may try those next. But optimally, I would just like to buy a different set of basses at this point.
Let me know your thoughts! Thanks!
I've stuck with 12's since I bought it, but I think I'll try a set of 13's. Not sure what to get. I think MacNichol's carries D'Addario EXP 17's & EJ17's, John Pearse 700M's, and probably others. We'll see.
These are my favorite metal slides. Here's a picture of the display stand at the store.
