Need a Yamaha guitar bridge saddle? Consider our bone saddle, which will fit some post-2000 Yamaha guitars with undersaddle pickups. Compare to Yamaha part number WT83730E.
Additionally, we make our bridge saddle with a 3.1 mm thickness to allow you to adjust to a snug fit in your guitar’s bridge slot. However, some of our competitors make saddles to a 3.0 mm thickness, and this can result in a loose fit. Height is set at one mm lower than our standard Yamaha-style saddle height to account for the undersaddle pickup thickness. This will reduce the amount of time required for sanding.
Many people prefer bone to the factory Yamaha plastic saddle because of the rich, warm tone produced.
Please note that each guitar is slightly different and your new unbleached bone saddle may need adjustments to the height, length, or thickness to match your factory Yamaha guitar bridge saddle. We include a piece of sandpaper for adjustments.

I replaced the factory Urea saddle on my black Yamaha LL16D Black guitar and I love the sound. The fit was nearly perfect albeit a bit more snug than the original so a small amount of sanding was necessary. In addition to the saddle, I also replaced the factory plastic bridge pins with an ebony/abalone inlayed set. After installing a new set of Elixir 11-52 custom light phospher/bronse strings, the sound quality of the guitar was fantastic. The richness, intonation and tonal balance of all the strings was superb as was the overall sustain of the notes, almost bell like on the high E and B strings. Everything sounded great with or with amplification.
